Concrete Grinding, Polishing & Burnishing

We transform existing concrete and terrazzo floors into durable, easy-to-maintain, high-image surfaces for industrial, retail, and large-format properties.

Restoration
Increased Hardness
Less Dust
Improved Appearance
Easy Maintenance

Restore the floor you already have

Before replacing a surface, we evaluate whether the existing concrete or terrazzo can be rehabilitated into a stronger, cleaner, and more visually attractive floor.

RestoreWe correct wear, loss of finish, and surface deterioration through controlled mechanical processes.
HardenDensification helps consolidate the surface, reduce dusting, and improve performance under everyday use.
BurnishWe can take the floor from a restrained finish to higher levels of clarity, reflectivity, and architectural appearance.
Simplify MaintenanceA properly polished surface can simplify cleaning and reduce dependence on waxes or traditional topical finishes.

Does your floor have any of these problems?

These are common conditions in concrete and terrazzo surfaces that may justify an assessment before considering full replacement.

Dull FloorLoss of gloss or appearance from continuous use.
Visible WearMarked traffic lanes or uneven finish.
DustingWeak surface or inadequate densification.
Stains & MarksContamination, tire marks, oils, or heavy use.
Previous FinishesSealers, coatings, or residues that require removal.
Deteriorated AppearanceThe floor no longer matches the visual quality of the space.
Before replacing an existing floor, we evaluate whether it can be restored.

How We Transform the Surface

The process adapts to the actual condition of the floor, but typically follows a progressive sequence from mechanical correction to the final finish.

01AssessmentWe review damage, hardness, coatings, cracks, and service conditions.
02GrindingWe correct and open the surface using diamond tooling.
03DensificationWe consolidate the surface when the specification requires it.
04PolishingWe progressively refine the floor until the specified finish level is achieved.
05BurnishingWe finish and protect the surface according to operational needs and the desired appearance.
Capacity for Large Areas

Professional equipment for productivity, control, and uniformity

In industrial, commercial, and large-format areas, productivity depends on more than the final gloss. We combine high-output machinery, industrial dust extraction, and diamond tooling to maintain an efficient work sequence and consistent finish.

Planetary GrindersGreater coverage and control over large surfaces.
Dust ExtractionCleaner, more controlled work when the process is performed dry.
Edges & DetailsSpecialized equipment for edges, columns, and transitions.

Technical detail remains available for those who need it, without interrupting the commercial flow of the page.

Abrasives, Diamonds & Polishing Pads

The sequence changes according to hardness, floor condition, and final finish. We use different tooling families for each stage.

Initial Cut
Metal-Bond Diamond

For grinding, surface correction, material removal, and aggregate exposure.

Typical range: 25/30 · 40 · 80 · 100/150

Transition
Hybrid Tooling

Reduces metal scratches and facilitates the transition to finer polishing stages.

Typical range: 50 · 100 · 200

Refinement
Resin-Bond Diamond

Builds clarity and gloss through progressively finer steps.

Typical range: 100 · 200 · 400 · 800 · 1500 · 3000

Finishing
Diamond-Impregnated Pads

For burnishing, gloss restoration, and periodic maintenance.

Use: burnishing · restoration · maintenance

Densifiers, Protectors & Auxiliary Materials
Silicate Densifiers

Help increase surface density and hardness while reducing dusting.

Penetrating Protectors

Ayudan a reducir absorción de agua, grasas y a
ceites según la exposición del área.

Fillers & Repairs

Materials for cracks, porosity, minor defects, and prior corrections.

Maintenance

Compatible detergents, autoscrubbers, and diamond pads to maintain appearance.

Aggregate Exposure & Gloss Level

A professional specification separates aggregate exposure from the final appearance level, avoiding the common mistake of defining a project only by the last grit used.

Aggregate Exposure

Class APredominantly paste with minimal fine aggregate exposure.
Class BGreater fine aggregate exposure with a salt & pepper appearance.
Class CMore pronounced coarse aggregate exposure, dependent on the existing slab.

Appearance Level

Level 1Matte / ground, with minimal reflection clarity.
Level 2Satin / honed, with soft reflection.
Level 3Polished, with visible clarity and reflection.
Level 4High image clarity and a highly polished finish.
Final exposure also depends on slab flatness, composition, placement, and original finishing. For demanding projects, expectations should be validated with a sample or mockup.
